Fighting post-burn scars on the skin is not the easiest task in the field of dermatology. The use of ointments and various compresses do not bring good results, so we offer laser grinding of burns. The principle of action consists in the evaporation of many microsites of scar tissue. It should be noted that this method gives excellent results in the removal of both hypertrophic and normotrophic, hypotrophic scar changes. Scars usually appear after the second month after the burn has healed. The less time has passed since the appearance of a scar, the easier it is to treat.

How is the procedure?
The unique iPixel nozzle generates plasma sparks when passing over the surface of the scar, at the point of contact of the microplasma discharge with the scar tissue voids are formed due to skin evaporation. These voids in the form of microcolumns alternate with areas of virgin tissue, which will be a reserve for the recovery and healing of injuries inflicted by the laser. When working with burns, several passes are made with the iPixel nozzle to achieve the required depth of microperforation and maximal evaporation of scar tissue so that it is replaced by healthy tissue later on during healing. The diameter of micro damages that appear under the influence of rays is insignificant. From 100 to 1100 microzones with a depth of no more than 1.5 mm are formed on one centimeter of the skin, which leaves the body with a large resource for self-regeneration. Healthy cells are not touched, which completely eliminates the risk of additional burns and pigmentation.
How long is the course?
The course of procedures is drawn up individually after an examination by a dermatologist, it depends on the area of the burn, how long it has taken, and how the body will react and recover. It can be from 6 to 10 procedures with an interval between them of up to four weeks.

Care after the procedure.
Laser polishing of burns does not require long recovery. It takes from 7 to 14 days. The patient is recommended to treat the affected area with Chlorhexidine and protect it from any mechanical influences. If polishing took place in an open area, it is necessary to protect from the sun's rays, when going outside, use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. During the day, do not wet the sanding area, do not take a hot bath until a crust forms, and do not visit a sauna, a bathhouse, or a solarium.
