Laser removal of burns

Fighting post-burn scars on the skin is not the easiest task in the field of dermatology. The use of ointments and various compresses do not bring good results, so we offer laser grinding of burns. The principle of action consists in the evaporation of many microsites of scar tissue. It should be noted that this method gives excellent results in the removal of both hypertrophic and normotrophic, hypotrophic scar changes. Scars usually appear after the second month after the burn has healed. The less time has passed since the appearance of a scar, the easier it is to treat.

The course of procedures is drawn up individually after an examination by a dermatologist, it depends on the area of ​​the burn, how long it has taken, and how the body will react and recover. It can be from 6 to 10 procedures with an interval between them of up to four weeks.

Laser polishing of burns does not require long recovery. It takes from 7 to 14 days. The patient is recommended to treat the affected area with Chlorhexidine and protect it from any mechanical influences. If polishing took place in an open area, it is necessary to protect from the sun's rays, when going outside, use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. During the day, do not wet the sanding area, do not take a hot bath until a crust forms, and do not visit a sauna, a bathhouse, or a solarium.
