About the procedure
Warts are benign neoplasms that are the result of infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV). The virus is easily transmitted from person to person by contact - through hugs, handshakes, and indirectly - through personal items, as well as as a result of contact with surfaces in public places.
Today, warts are successfully removed with the help of a laser, because the laser has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect.
In Myroslava Novosilska Aesthetic Medicine Clinic, removal of viral warts is performed on the Israeli-German Harmony XL Pro device.

How is the procedure performed?
Before the procedure, the specialist examines the problem area on the skin. Next, the removal site is treated with an antiseptic, in order to prevent the adverse effect of the laser on the eyes, the patient wears special glasses. During the removal of warts with a laser, the problem area of the skin is affected by a powerful light stream, which is absorbed by the cells and evaporates them layer by layer. At the final stage, the removal site is re-disinfected and covered with a sterile bandage.

Frequently asked questions
Can warts turn into cancer?
No, viruses that cause warts on hands and feet do not lead to oncology. HPVs that cause acute condylomas on the genitals are also not oncogenic, but with them "in addition" you could get other infections.
Can warts go away by themselves?
Maybe, if the provoking factors are eliminated. In practice, this rarely happens. In addition, if you wait, warts can grow larger. As long as you walk around with warts, you can infect other people.
Can you cure a wart with pills?
No, the only effective way is laser removal.
