About the procedure
Skin neoplasms are a common skin lesion that occurs in different age groups, both in men and women. Dermatologists divide them into congenital (for example, nevi) and acquired (warts, papillomas, keratomas, etc.). Laser removal of new growths is the least traumatic, fast method of removing various new growths on the skin. In most patients, laser removal does not leave scars. Today, the safest method of neoplasms removal is laser removal, in our Clinic we use the Israeli-German Harmony XL Pro device with the Ipixel handpiece.

How is the procedure?
Before removing disturbing neoplasms, a consultation with a dermatologist is necessary, who can correctly assess the clinical situation and, if necessary, recommend additional examination. During the examination, the doctor excludes contraindications. After that, the doctor treats the removal site with an antiseptic and begins the laser removal procedure, the laser welds the vessels, which prevents bleeding and the introduction of infection. The action of the laser beam is targeted and dosed, even if the neoplasm has deep roots, the laser acts only on the body of the growth. The energy of the laser beam activates healthy cells, forcing them to actively divide. As a result, the wound heals quickly.

Care after the procedure:
After removal of the neoplasm, a small wound remains, which heals within 7-14 days (depending on the size of the removed neoplasm). During healing, a crust forms on the wound, which then falls off on its own; you can't scratch or peel it, so as not to form a scar. After the procedure, for two weeks, it is not recommended to visit saunas, baths and swimming pools, and not to sunbathe in the active sun.

The laser is suitable for removing moles of any type that have no suspicious signs. Before removal, the doctor must examine with a dermatoscope and only if there are no contraindications, the doctor begins the removal.
What is a better way to remove neoplasms?
Laser removal is highly effective, safe and minimally traumatic to tissues. After laser removal, there are rarely relapses, since the depth of vaporization is controlled to mm, and allows to completely destroy all the cells of the unwanted element.
How often can laser removal of neoplasms be done?
Complete healing of the skin occurs in 2-3 weeks, while the neoplasms disappear forever. If an unwanted element appears in another place, you can repeat the laser removal procedure. Several neoplasms can be removed in one session.
