How is the laser hair removal procedure conducted?
In Myroslava Novosilska Aesthetic Medicine Clinic, we use the Harmony XL Pro device with the AFT SHR handpiece, which has contactless cooling. The principle of laser hair removal is based on the action of a laser beam on the hair follicle. Penetrating to a depth of 2-3 mm below the surface of the skin, these waves affect only the bulbs and are not reflected in any way on other cells of the epidermis. In the process of laser epilation, the melanin contained in the hair absorbs the light beam directed at it, which leads to the heating of the hair from the inside and thus destroys the hair follicle.
