Wet ones are formed as a result of short-term action of a damaging physical factor, dry ones - as a result of long-term action of pressure, friction and trauma.

How is the procedure for removing calluses with liquid nitrogen performed?
The removal procedure is as follows:
Before removal, the specialist conducts an examination and confirms the diagnosis, excludes contraindications to removal with liquid nitrogen. Anesthesia is not applied during the procedure because the procedure is quick and tolerable. Application of liquid nitrogen occurs through the tube of the apparatus - cryo destructor. The duration of cooling usually does not exceed 60 seconds and depends on the area and depth of the callus, and the thickness of the skin. In the process of cooling, the callus zone turns white in the form of “frost”. If necessary, the removal should be repeated after 7-14 days. No scars remain after removal with liquid nitrogen.
