Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy, photo 1
About the procedure
Carboxytherapy is the saturation of the skin with oxygen and useful microelements with the help of non-invasive introduction of carbon dioxide (CO2). Upon entering the cells, carbon dioxide disintegrates into carbon (C) and oxygen (O2), which creates conditions of hypoxia. As a result, the skin receives more active blood flow, lymph circulation is improved, and the face looks fresh and healthy.

Carboxytherapy is a complex procedure. It cleanses, tones, moisturizes, and works on problem areas of the skin, so it has a wide range of applications. It is recommended to be used to combat age-related defects, lighten pigmentation and reduce couperosis, moisturize and saturate dry, flabby skin, and combat acne and post-acne. The procedure is extremely effective in the fight against facial swelling and dark bags under the eyes.

In our Clinic, we use the most effective drugs for carboxytherapy - a line of products from the Japanese manufacturer Demax. It is recommended not only to improve the condition of the skin, but also as an exit procedure - before solemn events.

Advantages of carboxytherapy
Carboxytherapy is a great alternative for those who do not want to resort to injectable or laser skin rejuvenation methods. The result of the procedure is achieved without damage to the epithelium and adverse reactions, and there is no recovery period at all.
How is the carboxytherapy procedure performed
How is the carboxytherapy procedure performed?
First of all, the specialist examines the condition of the skin, determines indications and possible contraindications, advises on the number and frequency of repeating procedures. After that, the skin is cleansed of makeup and impurities and the procedure is carried out in several stages.
At the first stage, an acid primer is applied to cleanse and enhance skin regeneration. After it is a gel-activator, which starts a cascade of reactions to release carbon dioxide and saturate the skin tissues with it, strengthening microcirculation. In the third stage, a modeling bridge or reconstructive mask is applied, depending on the needs of the skin. The procedure ends with the application of a regenerating and soothing cream with sun protection properties.
A full course of carboxytherapy consists of 4-10 sessions, depending on the condition of the skin and the client's goal. The recommended interval between procedures is 7-10 days.
