If similar formations have appeared on your body, specialists at Myroslava Novosilska Aesthetic Medicine Clinic will provide you with effective help in removing warts. Procedure
How is the wart freezing procedure performed?
A wart can be removed quickly and comfortably, the most important is not to delay this process, as the stem of the wart can grow deep into the foot, which complicates the treatment process and brings great discomfort. In our Clinic, a specialist removes the wart using nitrogen freezing. First, the specialist uses a special tool to remove the top of the wart, then applies the substance to the wart, while pressing lightly on it. Depending on the size of the wart, the application time lasts 5-30 seconds. For example, removing plantar warts with nitrogen takes more time, because all layers of the skin must freeze to obtain the desired result. After the specialist “burns” the formation for the first time, the procedure is interrupted for 1-2 minutes, this is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of the action. Usually, the skin turns white in the place of “burning”, but in 2 minutes it goes away and the specialist can determine the depth and extent of the effect of nitrogen on the skin. Skin that has been frozen takes on a whitish-pink hue.
Also, in our Clinic we offer a laser method of removing warts - the laser beam not only completely removes and splits the damaged area of the skin, but also thermally processes the adjacent areas, disinfecting them. In addition, the beam coagulates the vessels located in the epidermis, thereby contributing to faster healing of the removal site and the absence of scars.
