Plasma therapy (or Plasmolifting, PRP) is a skin rejuvenation procedure that differs from other cosmetology procedures in that the client is injected with platelet-rich plasma obtained from his/her own blood.
This method can be called unique due to the "self-rejuvenation" effect. Platelet-rich plasma is injected into problem areas and activates the functioning of connective tissue cells. As a result, the biological mechanism of natural skin rejuvenation is launched at the expense of the body's own reserves, without surgical intervention and other drastic methods.
The biggest advantage of plasma therapy is its safety. Plasma is separated from the client's own blood by centrifugation, without the addition of additional elements and contact with air. Thanks to this, the possibility of allergic reactions or rejection, as sometimes happens with foreign drugs, is excluded.

How is the plasma lifting procedure performed
How is the plasma lifting procedure performed?
Before carrying out plasma lifting, a doctor's consultation is required, which determines possible contraindications and prescribes a referral for tests. A blood test is necessary to check the quality of platelets and exclude the possibility of infectious diseases. After receiving the test results and the doctor's approval, you can start the procedure.
3-4 days before the procedure, you should refrain from drinking alcohol, consuming heavy food, and taking medications that can affect blood clotting.
In our Clinic, plasma is prepared from the client's blood in a centrifuge. Contact of the material with the external environment is excluded. Approximately 4 ml of plasma is extracted from approximately 20 ml of blood, which is immediately injected into the required area. The procedure lasts about 20 minutes and the improvement is observed already after the first injection. Depending on the client's needs, a course of 5-7 procedures with an interval of 7-14 days may be required.
There is no special rehabilitation period after the procedure. It is recommended not to wet, not rub, and try not to touch the injection sites for the first 12 hours. Limit sports activities, do not visit the pool and sauna for several days.

The plasma therapy procedure is carried out only in compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, in order to avoid the possibility of infection of the patient during blood sampling. It is forbidden to carry out this procedure at home.
Is it painful to do plasma therapy?
