Wringing The technique is very similar to stroking, but the difference is that squeezing involves a stronger effect, so it affects not only the epidermis, but also the surface layer of the muscles. In contrast to stroking, in the process of squeezing, a fold of skin is formed under the massage therapist's palms. Wringing allows you to effectively warm up the tissues. Special oils will help in performing this technique.
Friction Displacement of the skin in certain directions. Rubbing is similar to squeezing, but differs in a faster pace and increased pressing force. Rubbing gives a warming effect, allowing you to get rid of muscle spasms.
Types
Types of sports massage:
Preliminary massage This type of massage is performed before sports training and is used to increase the athlete's physical endurance. It is performed from 10 to 25 minutes by an experienced massage therapist, because the activation of the muscle system depends on it.
Restorative massage It is used to restore effective work and physical activity of the muscular system, warm up tired muscles, and increase muscle tone. Such a massage is performed during breaks of physical activity.
Training massage A training type of massage will bring your physical and mental state to a comfortable level. The duration of this type of massage is no more than an hour. Techniques used in such manipulations are very diverse and depend on several factors.
