Procedure

How is the procedure performed?

Phototherapy is performed using the Alma Harmony XL functional platform, which was developed by the Israeli company Alma Lasers. The procedure is painless and does not require the application of anesthetic agents. The specialist selects the length of the pulsed light depending on the initial condition of the patient's skin, the size and nature of the vascular formations. The skin rejuvenation technology using wide-cavity pulsed light (IPL, or photorejuvenation) is based on the ability of certain substances to absorb light pulses with different wavelengths ranging from 515 to 1200 nm.

How long is the course?

The effect of photorejuvenation of the face appears after the first procedure, and grows gradually throughout the course, as well as some time after its completion. Already after the first session, you can see that the condition of the skin has improved, it becomes more elastic, tightened, and lighter. The course consists of 4 to 8 procedures with an interval of 7-14 days between them.

Care

Care after the procedure

Washing with cool water is recommended, you can use alcohol-free home care products. Do not use scrubs or rub the skin for the first few days. The first 2-3 days, if necessary, you can apply Panthenol or Bepanthen. When going outside, be sure to apply sunscreen with SPF50.

It is not recommended to perform a photorejuvenation procedure immediately after contour plastic procedure, as the action of light can accelerate the biodegradation of the filler. It is necessary to have an interval of 14 days.

Is it possible to carry out a photo rejuvenation procedure in the summer?

It can be used in the summer, provided that the skin is constantly protected from the sun's rays. It is necessary to use products with a high level of SPF.

How many photo rejuvenation procedures are needed for a visible result?

The number of procedures for the patient is determined individually, usually 4-6 procedures are enough to achieve the maximum result, the interval between procedures is 2 weeks.
