How is the procedure performed?

The modern and most gentle method of removal is AFT therapy, it takes place through the Harmony XL Pro platform, a special Dye-VL light filter is used in the removal process. This means that the nozzle separates only green light from the general ultraviolet beam. Its wavelength is 500-600 nm - it is the most effective for combating vascular lesions. When this light is directed at the hemangioma, the enlarged vascular wall is sealed due to excessive heating and coagulation of hemoglobin in the capillaries. As a result, the pathological growth of blood vessels atrophies and disappears.

the surface should be treated with antiseptic, drying solutions recommended by the doctor;

when going outside, you need to apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or more to the place of hemangioma removal to protect the skin from the formation of areas of hyperpigmentation.

Recovery after removal is quick and uncomplicated, provided you follow all the doctor's recommendations, which are provided in written and verbal form:

within 7 days you can not steam the skin, you should refrain from visiting sauna, bath, and taking a hot bath;

do not apply any means to the wound without consulting a doctor;

until the wound is completely healed, you should refrain from active training, do not lift weights;

after the formation of a crust, do not scratch or peel it off, it should fall off by itself when new healthy skin forms under the crust.
